The Southern Extra Mural & Suburb area of the Roman Small Town and Posting Station of Bannaventa on Watling Street.
This talk will will build upon the archaeological background and analysis of the site provided in the first talk (video available HERE) by focusing on the statistical data and particular findings observed from the assemblages recovered in the geophysical, fieldwalking and metal detecting surveys of the area.
It will also set the scene for the final lecture where the new evidence will be interpreted in terms of our understanding of the site during the Roman period.”
