Test pit 4 in the IAF proved to be the most interesting and soon became a fully-fledged trench …

Here are some photos of today’s event. Sorry there are no shots of people – I was videoing during the ceremony itself. The video, produced by Harry Young, will be on YouTube when it is ready. There will be a link to it from this site.
The grave was prepared just over the hedge from where the cemetery was found.
These are the new grave goods buried with the remains, to replace the ones we have kept.
The sun shone. The mood was serious but not sombre.
Wise words of thanks were spoken.
